Permanent Vascular Surgery Opportunity in Lewiston, ME
Position Overview:
Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join a growing surgical program within a regional referral center. This is an excellent opportunity to build and expand a vascular service line while working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Practice Details:
Full-time position
Balanced inpatient and outpatient practice
Dedicated operating room access
Established cardiovascular and surgical programs
Strong collaboration with cardiology, interventional radiology, nephrology, and critical care teams
Procedures Include:
Endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR/TEVAR)
Peripheral vascular interventions
Carotid endarterectomy and carotid stenting
Lower extremity bypass surgery
Dialysis access creation and maintenance
Management of peripheral arterial disease and critical limb ischemia
Venous disease management and thrombectomy procedures
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive vascular surgical care
Perform both open and endovascular procedures
Manage inpatient consults
Participate in call coverage
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives
Requirements:
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
Completion of accredited vascular surgery training
Eligible for Maine medical license
DEA certification required
