Vascular Trauma Surgery Coverage – California (Hospital Setting)
Schedule & Coverage:
- ~50% weeknights and 50% weekends
- Approx. 2 weekends/month and 3 weeknights/week
- Minimum commitment: 4 shifts/month
Practice Details:
- Setting: Level 1 Trauma Center (Hospital-based)
- Patient Volume: Variable census; higher volume in summer months
- EMR: Epic
Scope & Skills Required:
- Vascular trauma surgery experience required
- Must be comfortable with vascular and open surgical procedures
- Experience with vascular trauma call strongly preferred
- Must have Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience (Level 1 strongly preferred)
Requirements:
- Board Certified (BC) – Required
- Active California License – Required
- California DEA – Required
- Fluoroscopy Certification – Required
- ACLS – Required
Credentialing:
- Estimated 90–120 days
