Practice Vascular Surgery in South Texas with Semi-Tropical Weather

A leading healthcare system in South Texas is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join a growing, academically affiliated surgical practice. Position Highlights:

About the Facility:
The hospital is a full-service acute care center with advanced resources and technology, including:

  • 586 licensed beds (380 operational)
  • 19 operating rooms
  • Integrated Cerner EMR system
  • Comprehensive cardiovascular and endovascular services
  • 4 Cath Lab suites with Cardiac, EP, and Neuro capabilities
  • Da Vinci XI robotic surgical system

Scope of Practice:
The Vascular Surgeon will provide comprehensive care for patients with arterial, venous, and lymphatic disorders, including:

  • Full spectrum of open and endovascular procedures (carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm repair, lower extremity revascularization, dialysis access, venous interventions)
  • Collaboration with Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, and General Surgery teams for multidisciplinary care
  • Participation in shared call coverage coordinated with the hospital
  • Opportunities for academic engagement through the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine
