We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Vascular Surgeon to join a growing surgical team serving a diverse patient population in the Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in diagnosing and treating complex vascular conditions, performing advanced surgical interventions, and managing chronic vascular disease. Job Responsibilities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary physicians to coordinate surgical planning
• Diagnose and treat arterial and venous disorders, including DVT, PAD, aneurysms, carotid disease, and varicose veins
• Perform open and minimally invasive vascular procedures
• Repair damaged arteries and veins and manage vascular trauma
• Clearly communicate surgical risks, benefits, and alternatives to patients
• Provide post-operative care and schedule follow-ups to monitor recovery
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient and procedural documentation
• Stay current with advancements in vascular surgery and emerging technologies
• Build strong relationships with patients and families, ensuring comprehensive care
Qualifications
• Board Certification in Vascular Surgery (required)
• Active New York State Medical License
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and clinical precision
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Commitment to high-quality patient-centered surgical care
