Facility:
This facility is a well-established Level 1 trauma center providing comprehensive healthcare services to the community. The hospital features state-of-the-art operating rooms and equipment, a full complement of ancillary staff, and utilizes Epic EMR for streamlined documentation and patient care management.
Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - Vascular
Job Details:
• Weekend coverage needed ASAP with specific dates to be determined
• Hospital-based practice setting
• Night call required with a 50% call ratio
• Average of 10 cases per day
• Level 1 Trauma Center with 250K annual ER volume
• 2 operating rooms available with full complement of ancillary staff
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Hemodialysis access procedures required
• Required vascular surgery procedures include: aneurysm repairs (thoracic, abdominal, peripheral), vascular access devices, and AV shunts
• Required endovascular surgery procedures include: carotid artery stenting, bypass surgery, aortofemoral bypass, stenting, endovascular and open surgical reconstruction for deep vein occlusions
• Treatment of lymphedema required
• Endovascular therapy required for peripheral artery disease and gangrene of the limbs
• On-call requirements: 8a-8a, including weekends
• Must be Board Certified/FACS
• Active Ohio license required (no exceptions)
• DEA required
• BLS/ACLS certification required
• Must be available for listed dates
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
