A leading North Carolina health system is actively seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join its dynamic surgical team. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a state-of-the-art environment with a full spectrum of vascular procedures—both open and endovascular—while making a lasting impact on patient care across the region.
Job Responsibilities
Provide pre-operative and post-operative management of vascular patients
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including general surgeons, interventional radiologists, and cardiologists
Participate in regional vascular outreach and population health initiatives
Contribute to clinical process improvements, peer education, and case reviews
Support resident education (if applicable) and promote surgical quality benchmarks
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
Fellowship-trained in Vascular Surgery (completion required before start)
Eligible for or holding an active North Carolina medical license
Strong communication, surgical judgment, and patient advocacy skills
Working Hours
Shared call rotation with existing vascular and surgical staff
Supportive APP and surgical teams to assist with rounds and urgent coverage
Dedicated OR block time and access to advanced hybrid suites
Skills
Competency in open aortic, carotid, and peripheral revascularization
Patient-centered approach with a focus on long-term outcomes and limb preservation
Comfortable in both elective and emergent vascular scenarios
Willingness to participate in system-wide surgical development and protocol updates
