A leading, integrated health system is recruiting a Board Certified or Board Eligible, fellowship-trained Vascular Surgeon to join an established Heart & Vascular Institute in Altoona.

This is a hospital-employed position offering a generous base salary plus work RVU bonus, strong infrastructure, and excellent access to operating rooms and endovascular suites.

Provide full-scope vascular surgery, including:

• Open and endovascular procedures

• Carotid endarterectomy

• AV fistula and graft creation

• Extremity bypass surgery

• Practice located on the hospital campus

• Immediate access to:

  • 12-OR main operating suite

  • Dedicated interventional/endovascular procedure room

  • 6-OR ambulatory surgery center

• Heart & Vascular Institute includes:

  • 1 Vascular Surgeon

  • 1 Cardiothoracic Surgeon

  • 5 Cardiologists

• Strong multidisciplinary collaboration with cardiology, CT surgery, and interventional teams

• 400-bed tertiary care hospital serving a 6-county primary service area (350,000+ residents)

• Level III Trauma Center

• Thrombectomy-capable stroke center serving an 18-county region (NY to MD)

• Regional referral center for:

  • Vascular surgery

  • Cardiac surgery

  • Interventional cardiology (including TAVR and Watchman)
