This Vascular Surgery Locum Tenens position is located in Pueblo, CO
Location: Pueblo, CO
Duration: July/August 2023 – January 2024 (likely to extend)
Reason for coverage: Supporting the group
Schedule: 5-10 shifts per month (preferred blocked if the provider is flying in)
Shift: 7a-7a
Call: Taken from hotel
Patient volume: Approximately 4-8 hours of patient contact per day, apx 1 case
-Capture area: New Mexico and Kansas boards (big capture area)
Scope: Vascular ER, consults, round, emergent surgeries
EMR: Epic
Hospital: Hospital: 370 beds, level II trauma center
Group/support: 3 perm vascular surgeons, APP will be onsite M-F for first assist, on call back over the weekends
Requirements (boards, license): Colorado or compact license
-BC or recently trained BE, Vascular Surgery or CVS fellowship required
-Must have acute case logs within the last 12 month (not required at time of name clear, but request from your physicians)
