Locums Surgeon, General & Trauma - Fort Smith, AR
*Locums Travel or Locums to Perm
*Reason for need: Vacancy
*Start Date: ASAP
*End Date: Ongoing (Depends on time needed to fill vacancy)
***A completed Covid vaccination card is now a required bid document to bid your provider and for your provider to be considered to work locums with Mercy***
*Provider will be needed for 15 days per month for both call and inpatient rounding for trauma, acute surgical cases and hospital follow-up.
*Day shifts - 10 hour shifts; night shifts - 14 hours.
*Additional Licensure: ACLS, ATLS, BLS
*Support: 2 nurse practitioners
*Very busy level 3 trauma center with an average of 60,000 annual ER visits
336-bed acute care hospital
