Job description
Locums Trauma Surgery coverage needed in Georgia at a Level 2 trauma center with ICU and ACS responsibilities. Ongoing 1 to 2 weeks per month
Practice Setting
- Level 2 Trauma Center
- Run a 3 person trauma surgery team w/ dedicated APP support
- APPs can serve as FAs
- ICU and ACS coverage along with trauma call
- Daytime coverage includes two surgeons, nights include one onsite surgeon with one on call for backup
Schedule
- Ongoing need for 1 to 2 weeks per month.
- 12 hour and 24 hour options
- Call expectations noted as 24 hour for ICU weeks.
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO.
- Board Certified in Surgery; Surgical Critical Care required.
- Georgia license required, or Interstate Medical License, Open to IMLC Physicians.
- ACLS, BLS, and DEA required.
