Requirements
- MD or DO candidates.
- General surgery residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program.
- Trauma/Surgical Critical Care fellowship completion required from an accredited program.
- Board certified or board eligible candidates required.
- Active Texas license or willingness to obtain.
- Seeking an experienced candidate who is ready to practice immediately (allowing 120 days for credentialing).
Position Details:
- Full-time, employed position with Texas Health Surgical Specialists in Fort Worth, part of Texas Health Physicians Group.
- Practice on the campus of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth in the Fort Worth medical district.
- Competitive compensation and benefits will be offered.
- Work 168 scheduled shifts per year (12-hour shifts) with no home call requirement.
- Texas is a tort reform state and has no state income tax
