Trauma & Critical Care Surgeon - West Des Moines, IA *Critical Care fellowship completion required* ### The Opportunity Seeking a BC/BE Trauma & Critical Care Surgeon to join one of the largest physician-owned andgoverned multi-specialty clinics in the Midwest. The department is growing from 5 to 6 Trauma/Critical Care Surgeons operating under an Acute Care Surgery model. ### Clinical Scope
- Call: 1:6
- Iowa Methodist Medical Center — 370-bed ACS-verified Level I Trauma Center
- Blank Children's Hospital — 88-bed ACS-verified Level II Trauma Center
- 1,700 admissions annually
- One location to cover with a newer ED and Trauma rooms
- Surgery department consists of 5 Trauma/Critical Care Surgeons (growing to 6), 5 General Surgeons, 4 Colorectal Surgeons, and 1 Surgical Oncologist
- General Surgery Residency Program on-site
