A leading healthcare organization in the Boston area is seeking a compassionate, caring BC/BE Surgical Intensivist for a full-time opportunity combining Surgical Critical Care and General Surgery.
Location & Lifestyle:
Position Highlights:
- Full-time Surgical Critical Care / General Surgery position
- Split clinical responsibilities between Surgical Critical Care/ICU coverage and General Surgery
- Combined ICU caring for both surgical and medical patients
- Opportunity to help build a multidisciplinary ICU team of surgeons, pulmonologists and anesthesiologists
- Participate in development of a Surgical Step-Down Unit
- Opportunities for surgery resident and PA education
- Candidates with prior team leadership or programmatic development experience preferred
- Broad surgical services supported by minimally invasive surgery with the da Vinci 5 platform
- Hospital's specialties include Orthopedic Surgery, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Podiatry, Thoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery and Urology

Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Surgical Critical Care
- Comfortable managing the full spectrum of critical care
- Experience performing routine General Surgery procedures
- Strong teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
- Experience in clinical leadership, team development or program development
