Trauma Surgeon Opportunity Level II Trauma Center
Location: Springfield, OR - Portland 105m
Setting: Hospital-Based | Level II Trauma Center
Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent position
Position Highlights:
* Join a collaborative team of 8 trauma surgeons and 5 APCs
* Blend of Trauma, Acute Care Surgery, and ICU coverage
* Responsibilities include:
* Rounding on trauma and acute care patients
* ICU consults
* Trauma follow-up clinic visits
* Strong support from Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery, and Intensivists
* Medical Center:
* 392-bed tertiary referral hospital
* Level II Trauma Center
* Serves a wide catchment area from the Oregon coast to Northern California
* ~3,500 trauma patients/year

Ideal Candidate:
* Board certified/eligible in General Surgery with fellowship training or extensive experience in Trauma or Acute Care Surgery
* Comfortable in a busy, team-based trauma and ICU environment
* Passionate about rural health and caring for complex trauma populations
