- Tertiary/quaternary referral center for a ~45K square mile area w/ catchment of 1.25M
- Annual trauma volume of 3,900+; approx. 650 with Injury Severity Score >/= 15

- Coverage of trauma surgery, surgical critical care, acute care surgery, emergency general surgery and burns
- Teach surgical critical care fellows, residents and med students
