Norfolk, VA
Full time
* Abdominal Transplant Surgeon
* Join an established transplant program with a long history of kidney and pancreas transplantation
* Collaborate with a team of experienced abdominal transplant surgeons to support program growth and development
* Perform a high volume of kidney transplants, including living donor, multivisceral, and combined organ transplants
* Participate in advanced surgical approaches including robotic and laparoscopic living donor kidney transplantation
* Engage in multidisciplinary transplant care, including collaboration on pediatric transplant cases
* Opportunities for clinical and translational research
* Participate in medical student and resident education
* Work in a high-performing, physician-led environment focused on quality and regulatory excellence
* Qualifications
* Completion of an accredited general surgery residency (American Board of Surgery)
* Completion of an ASTS-approved fellowship in solid organ transplantation
* Eligible for or licensed to practice medicine in Virginia
* Experience (preferred 3–5 years) in kidney transplantation and living donor nephrectomies
* Strong interest in living donor kidney transplantation
* Preferred experience or training in liver transplantation
