Seeking a board-certified cardiac surgeon for one complete holiday coverage block:
• December 24–28, 2026 — preferred
• OR December 28, 2026–January 4, 2027
Opportunity Highlights
• 24-hour call, 7 a.m.–7 a.m.
• Approximately 1–2 cardiothoracic surgical cases daily
• Adult and geriatric patients
• Epic EMR
• One cardiac OR and one hybrid OR
• Competitive compensation

Qualifications
• Strong current adult cardiac surgery experience, including CABG and valve repair/replacement
• Impella insertion/removal and structural heart support experience required
• Comfortable managing high-risk postoperative ICU patients
• Board certification and BLS required
• Thoracic surgery experience preferred
• Kentucky license preferred; candidates needing licensure may be considered
