Date: Ongoing; anticipated late 2026/early 2027 start following credentialing
Schedule: Weekend call coverage only
- Friday 10:00a - Monday 5:00a
- 1-2 weekends per month
- Telephone call coverage with 30-minute response time
Practice Setting: Cardiothoracic Surgery
Patient Volume: Average census of 7 patients
EMR: Epic
Licensing: Active Illinois license required (IMLC accepted); BC Cardiothoracic Surgery; DEA and CSR required
Credentialing: Approximately 120 days; temporary privileges available
Required Skills: CABG, adult cardiothoracic surgery, postoperative cardiac surgery management, inpatient rounding, and emergent cardiac surgery coverage
