Coverage Dates: September 11, 7:00 AM – September 16, 7:00 AM
Credentialing: Approximately 30 days; emergency privileging may be considered
Position Details
Reason for Coverage: Gaps in call coverage
Practice Setting: Hospital-based rounding
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts
Monthly Need: 10–14 days of call coverage per month
Average Cases: Approximately 1 case per day
Trauma Level: Level II
Operating Rooms: 20
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: 3 PAs
Patient Population: Adult
Required Procedures
Candidates must be comfortable performing all of the following:
CABG
Arterial revascularization using internal mammary, radial, and gastroepiploic arteries
Redo coronary revascularization, with or without heart valve surgery
Pericardial window
Heart valve repair/replacement
Mitral valve repair
Requirements
Board Certified: Required
Updated CV (No gaps above 30 Days)
NPDB Report (Current month copy)
Active Ohio License: Required
Fellowship Training: Required
BLS & ACLS: Required
Epic experience: Preferred
Must be available for the specified coverage dates
Must be able to perform all required procedures
