Assignment
- Duration: September/October 2026 – March 2027
- Schedule: 7 consecutive shifts per month (minimum)
- Shift: 24-hour pager call, 7a–7a
- Scope: Call coverage only, no clinic
- EMR: Epic
Case Mix
CABG, AVR, MVR, TAVR, EVAR, Carotid Endarterectomy, Impella insertion, VATS, Thoracotomy, Pericardial Window, Rib/Sternal Plating, Sternum Rewire
Volume
Average CV census of 10–12 patients, including rounding.
Requirements
- Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Active Texas license required
- Epic experience required
- Full support staff in place
