Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a locum tenens call-coverage position at Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee. This is a short, inpatient call assignment. Please see below for more information.
- Practice setting: acute care hospital, inpatient (CVICU, ICU, cardiac step-down, and other areas as needed); stroke-certified hospital
- Coverage: call-only, specific date block; multiple providers accepted
- Volume: approximately 10 patients per shift; admissions required; rounding on assigned patients
- Procedures: CABG, aortic and mitral valve replacement/repair (AVR/MVR), TEVAR, endovascular vein surgery/grafting (EVSG), and carotid endarterectomy
Job Responsibilities
Manage approximately 10 patients per shift; perform admissions and round on assigned patients.
Perform CABG, AVR/MVR, TEVAR, EVSG, and carotid endarterectomy as needed.
Provide inpatient surgical and critical care.
Qualifications
Active Tennessee license required.
Experienced with CABG, valve repair/replacement, TEVAR, EVSG, and carotid endarterectomy.
