We are seeking a Thoracic Surgeon for a locum tenens position in Minneapolis, MN. This opportunity focuses on advanced surgical care for thoracic oncology patients, including lung, chest wall, mediastinal, and pleural diseases, within a cancer-focused program. Please see below for more information.
- Level III/IV Trauma Center
Job Responsibilities
Perform minimally invasive thoracic surgery, robotic surgery, and VATS
Perform advanced bronchoscopy and endoscopic procedures for the lungs and esophagus
Practice across clinic and surgical/procedure settings
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including PAs, nurse navigator, clinic RNs, and a provider coordinator
Qualifications
Minnesota medical license or IMLC
DEA registration
ACLS and BLS (ACLS-BLS Tier 2)
Working Hours
Schedule structured as 2 days in clinic, 2 days in surgery/procedures, and 1 flexible day
Overnight and weekend call coverage required, shared among surgeons
