We are seeking a Thoracic Surgeon for a locum tenens position in Minneapolis, MN. This is a hospital-based thoracic oncology opportunity at a cancer institute, with clinic, surgery, and call coverage required. Please see below for more information.
EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Manage lung, chest wall, mediastinal, and pleural diseases
Perform minimally invasive thoracic surgery, robotic surgery, VATS, advanced bronchoscopy, and endoscopic procedures (lungs and esophagus)
Manage an adult patient population
Work alongside PAs, a nurse navigator, clinic RNs, and a provider coordinator
Qualifications
Active Minnesota medical license or IMLC
DEA
BLS
ACLS
Working Hours
2 days clinic, 2 days surgery/procedures, 1 flexible admin/surgical overflow day
Overnight and weekend call, divided among surgeons
