Cardiac Surgery Locum Opportunity – Idaho (Job ID: 3282414)
Established cardiac surgery program seeking Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiac Surgeon for ongoing locum coverage with consistent monthly need.
Schedule:
- July 10 – July 20 (24-hour call)
- August 1 – August 10 (24-hour call)
- Ongoing: 10 days/month (must be able to commit)
- Call: 24-hour shifts (7a–7a)
Practice Details:
- Average 1–2 surgeries per day
- Dedicated CV program with:
- 10-bed CVICU
- 3 CVOR suites
- Annual volume: ~400 cardiac + 150+ thoracic cases (including robotics)
- Team: 3 surgeons, 7 APPs, 4 perfusionists
Preferred Skillsets:
- Complex coronary cases
- ECMO
- Valve repair/replacement
- Minimally invasive or complex aortic surgery
- Thoracic surgery and AFib procedures a plus
Requirements:
- Active Idaho license or IMLC
- BC/BE Cardiac Surgeon (MD/DO)
- DEA & CSR required
Additional Info:
