The facility provides comprehensive medical services including 24/7 emergency services, maternity care, critical and intensive care, surgery, and pediatric services, all delivered by skilled physicians and highly trained healthcare professionals.
Opportunity:
Physician Assistant (PA) - Surgery - Cardiothoracic
Job Details:
• Report directly to Cardiovascular Surgeon with 5-20 patients per day
• Provide coverage for cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients (critical care experience may be considered)
• Serve adult and geriatric patient demographics using Epic EMR system
• Handle OR call and ICU/CVICU call responsibilities
• Coverage needed from April through July with specific dates to be determined
• Write prescriptions and coordinate patient care
• Perform daily rounds and interpret diagnostic tests
• Order appropriate tests and procedures
• Conduct vein harvesting procedures
• Must be board certified with active OH state license (or ability to obtain quickly)
• ACLS certification and COVID vaccination required
• Cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred (no new graduates)
• Self-Query NPDB report required within 30 days of presentation
• Credentialing timeframe 60-90 days with potential temporary privileges in 45 days
• Site will consider Surgical NP candidates
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
