Outstanding opportunity for a compassionate, experienced, board-certified Cardiac Surgeon to join a strong healthcare team in a faculty appointment as Chief of Cardiac Surgery.

  • Call 1:3 with APP First Call
  • This is a unique opportunity to guide the growth and innovation of cardiac surgery in Mid-Michigan
  • You will lead a talented team, drive clinical excellence, and build upon a strong foundation of success, all while being supported by executive coaching and leadership development opportunities
  • You will oversee a well-established clinical practice with significant, planned expansion
  • Program currently performs 600+ open-heart and structural heart procedures annually across two sites
  • The combined annual volume includes 320+ open cases and 200+TAVR procedures with goals to continue to grow our transcatheter mitral and tricuspid program
  • This is an opportunity to not only manage a busy and successful practice but to strategically direct the program
  • A faculty appointment with a comprehensive benefits package will be offered
  • The academic rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor will be based on your experience and qualifications


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited cardiothoracic surgery residency
  • Proficient in all aspects of adult cardiac surgery with excellent technical skills
  • A proven track record of high-quality outcomes and demonstrated aptitude in program development and leadership
