Cardiothoracic/Vascular Surgery Opportunity in Mississippi

Practice Overview:

  • Join two experienced surgeons
  • Perform the full spectrum of cardiothoracic and vascular surgical procedures
  • Provide inpatient care, emergency coverage, and consultation services across the medical center
  • Strong partnership with cardiology and other key specialty services
  • Established referral base with deep community trust and loyalty


Schedule:

  • Balanced practice model: approximately 50% clinic and 50% operative time
  • Call shared equally with partner (week-on, week-off model)
  • In-town call only, described as "not overly burdensome"
  • Minimal after-hours interruptions with strong support team

Candidate Requirements:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • 5+ years of experience strongly preferred; 1-2 years post-training considered for exceptional candidates
  • Eligible for Mississippi medical licensure

  • J1/H1b visas sponsored
