Thoracic Surgery Opportunity - Academic Medical Center Setting
Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent position
Setting: Hospital-Based Practice
Position Highlights:
* Provide comprehensive thoracic oncology services in a hospital setting
* Opportunity to care for a broad and complex patient population
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team focused on high-quality patient outcomes
* Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
* Maintain all necessary licensure, certifications, and competencies
Responsibilities:
* Deliver clinical thoracic surgery services with emphasis on oncology
* Participate in institutional meetings, in-services, and continuing education
* Align clinical work with the mission and strategic goals of the health system
* Maintain positive professional relationships with patients, colleagues, and staff
* Ensure documentation and regulatory compliance
Qualifications:
* MD or DO from an accredited medical school
* Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Thoracic Surgery
* Unrestricted West Virginia medical license (or ability to obtain)
* Experience in a hospital or group practice preferred
Schedule:
* Full-Time, Day Schedule
* Regular 1.0 FTE
