Opportunity: Certified - Cardio Thoracic Surgery
This is a coverage opportunity for CT Surgery Call while the primary CT surgeon is on vacation. The assignment begins with orientation on June 27th, 2025, at 8 am and continues through July 7th, 2025.
Job Details:
- Coverage needed for Cardio Thoracic Surgery call during primary surgeon's vacation
- Start date: June 27th, 2025 (8am orientation) through July 7th, 2025
- Board certification required
- ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
- Required skills include general CV/thoracic surgery (open procedures), chest wall/pleural procedures, CABG, vent management, and insertion of central, arterial, PA catheter, and IABP lines
- Preferred skills include endoscopic procedures, coronary artery bypass surgery, valvular repair/replacement, aneurysm repair, and various other thoracic and vascular procedures
- Nearest airport is in Lexington, KY
- Lodging recommendations include Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30 days
