<p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;">The Department of Surgery is seeking a dynamic candidate to further expand the Section of Thoracic Surgery in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery. The Division has a long history of excellence providing care for cancer patients at Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, the longest standing cancer center west of the Mississippi. MU Health Care strongly supports the growth and development of general thoracic surgery in both general and cancer surgery, through sustained and significant investment in multidisciplinary cancer care, surgical care of cancer disease of the chest, clinical trials, and translational research. Robust clinical, outcomes and basic science research platforms provide excellent opportunities for academic growth. </span></p></span>
