Job description
Job description
A large, established multi-specialty dermatology and cosmetic surgery organization is seeking a Plastic Surgeon to join its well-established plastic surgery practice serving patients throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties on Long Island.
This opportunity is ideal for a surgeon interested in building a diverse practice that combines cosmetic, reconstructive, dermatologic, and post-Mohs plastic surgery within an established referral network.
The incoming surgeon will benefit from access to a substantial dermatology patient population, internal physician referrals, multiple Mohs surgeons, advanced cosmetic technology, dedicated practice-development resources, and opportunities for research, publishing, and media exposure.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out:
This position offers the infrastructure and referral base of an established organization while providing significant opportunity to develop and grow an individual plastic surgery practice.
The surgeon will have access to:
More than 250,000 annual dermatology patient visits, creating a substantial potential source of cosmetic and reconstructive referrals.
Referrals from 30+ dermatologists, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners.
More than 40 dermatology providers generating appropriate surgical referrals.
Multiple Mohs surgeons providing opportunities for post-Mohs reconstruction and closure procedures.
An established plastic surgery practice and existing patient base.
A dedicated Cosmetic Concierge Division to support cosmetic practice development.
Marketing and practice-growth support.
Website and print exposure, with opportunities for prominent physician positioning.
Access to 100+ lasers and advanced cosmetic devices.
Ongoing education and training in new procedures and technologies.
Research and publishing opportunities.
Potential media and public-relations exposure.
