Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Faculty Opportunity – Phoenix, AZ
We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon for an immediate faculty practice opportunity in metropolitan Phoenix.
Position Highlights
- Join an established Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery within the Department of Surgery
- Practice at a 270-bed academic community hospital
- Designated ACS and State of Arizona Level I Adult Trauma Center and Level I Burn Center
- Urban teaching hospital with a fully accredited ACGME General Surgery Residency
- Hosts resident rotators from a nationally recognized Plastic Surgery Residency program
- Practice in a new hospital facility that opened in 2024
Clinical & Academic Responsibilities
- Inpatient and outpatient general plastic and reconstructive surgery
- Elective and emergent surgical care
- Shared call coverage
- Teaching and supervision of residents
- Team-based, collaborative approach to patient management
- Opportunities to participate in collaborative research
- Opportunity to help refine and expand existing plastic surgery services
Qualifications
- Completion of Plastic Surgery residency training
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery
- Comfort managing the full spectrum of plastic and reconstructive surgery patients
- Required expertise in maxillofacial trauma and microvascular surgery
- Prior academic or faculty experience preferred
