Wellstar MCG Health, in partnership with the Medical College of Georgia, is seeking a Breast Surgical Oncologist to join a growing academic Surgical Oncology program. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of clinical care, teaching, and program development within a collaborative, multidisciplinary cancer team.
You will practice in a dedicated breast surgery role supported by medical oncology, radiation oncology, breast imaging, pathology, genetics, and survivorship services. The program emphasizes coordinated care, tumor board collaboration, and access to evolving clinical trials and advanced surgical techniques.
What You’ll Do

Provide comprehensive surgical care for benign and malignant breast disease

Collaborate in multidisciplinary breast cancer conferences and treatment planning

Participate in resident and medical student education

Support quality initiatives and growth of the breast oncology program
What We’re Looking For

Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery

Fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology or Surgical Oncology with dedicated breast focus

Eligible for Georgia medical licensure

Interest in academic medicine and team-based cancer care
