Neurosurgery Opportunity- Near Chicago Position Overview -Adding a neurosurgeon to a growing practice -Inpatient / Outpatient practice -1:3 Call -Large referral base -Approximately 21/2 days in the clinic and 2 days in surgery -One P.A. on staff Ideal Candidate -BC/BE in Neurosurgery -Skilled in neurovascular a plus -MD or DO with completion of US residency -Unquestioned clinical skills -Excellent communication skills -Team player Hospital Attributes -Comprehensive health system with hospitalist program, 40 ICU beds and a full range of treatment modalities -New hospital tower due to open mid-2011: all new operating suites, procedure areas, ICU and Medical/Surgical unit -Level II Trauma Center -Involvement in residency and fellowship programs -Award Winning Programs through HealthGrades and Thomson Reuters 100 Top Hospitals -JCAHO accredited -Service area encompasses five counties for primary care services to a diverse population of approximately 450,000 individuals.
