Aya Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified Neurosurgeon for short-term locum tenens clinic and call coverage at Providence Saint Joseph Hospital in Eureka, CA, a Level III/IV trauma center.
• Specific dates needed: November 21 - December 9 and December 27 - January 6
• Weekday clinic and call 8:30A-5P, weeknight beeper call 5P-8:30A and 24-hour weekend beeper call
• Complex spine cases; coverage may be paired between providers
• Clinic is possible but not guaranteed all five weekdays
• Fluoroscopy certification required (temporary fluoro certification accepted)

Job Responsibilities
• Cover weeknight beeper call (5P-8:30A) and 24-hour weekend beeper call
• Treat complex spine cases
• Maintain required privileging documentation, including recent case logs
Qualifications
• Active California license and DEA required
• Fluoroscopy certification required (temporary accepted)
• 100 cases within the past 24 months specific to requested privileges
• 2 years of current hospital clinical activity; gaps over 3 months explained
