A health system in the Santa Rosa, CA area needs a neurosurgeon for 24-hour call coverage, with shifts January 29 to 31 and February 26 to 28, 2027, and more dates coming later in the year.
This is beeper call, so you are not required onsite. The rate is $6,000 per 24-hour call day, all-in, with callbacks included and nothing extra to track. Travel is covered.
You will cover a Level 3 trauma center with inpatient neurosurgical consults, supported by 2 PA/NPs, and the facility uses Epic.

Job Responsibilities
- Respond to ED and inpatient neurosurgical consults, including trauma
- Work with the 2 PA/NPs on the service
- Chart in Epic
Qualifications
- Active California license and DEA
- California fluoroscopy (FLURO) certificate, active or temporary
- 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in neurosurgery, with any gap over 3 months explained
Working Hours
- January 29 to 31, 2027 (ending February 1 at 7:30a)
- February 26 to 28, 2027 (ending March 1 at 7:30a)
