Location: Petoskey, MI
Shift: 24-hour call coverage; rounding and admits
Position Details: Hospital-based 24-hour call coverage with emergent call, emergent surgeries, inpatient rounding, and admissions; 5-10 inpatients per day; provider must perform both spinal and cranial procedures
Patient Population: Inpatient
Setting: Hospital-Based
Responsibilities: Emergent call, emergent surgeries, daily inpatient rounding, admissions
Required Procedures: Spinal and cranial neurosurgery
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: Neurosurgery APPs; 1 neurosurgeon and 1 orthopedic spine surgeon
Days Per Month: 14 days per month call coverage
On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour call; weekend call required
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified
- Active Michigan License
- ACLS
- Fellowship completed with 2-3 years of experience; must perform both spinal and cranial procedures
- Clean background with no actions; NPDB self-query required
