Job description
We are seeking a Neurosurgeon for a locum tenens position in Eureka, California, providing clinic and call coverage at an acute care hospital. Please see below for more information.
- Acute care hospital (Providence Saint Joseph Hospital – Eureka); Adult Trauma Level III/IV
- Clinic coverage plus weeknight beeper and 24-hour weekend beeper call
- Will see complex spine cases
- Specific coverage dates: 11/21–12/9/2026 and 12/27/2026–1/6/2027
Job Responsibilities
• Provide weeknight beeper call (5:00p–8:30a)
• Provide 24-hour weekend beeper call coverage
• Manage complex spine cases
Qualifications
• Active California license required
• DEA required
• FLURO certification required (temporary FLURO acceptable)
• Must submit 100 cases within the past 24 months specific to privileges requested
• 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in the specialty
