Confidential physician-owned spine practice in Mississippi is seeking a spine-focused Neurosurgeon to join a high-volume, multidisciplinary spine program.
This opportunity offers an established referral network, strong clinical support, and a practice model built around comprehensive neck and back care. Ideal for a neurosurgeon looking for autonomy, immediate volume, and long-term growth within a physician-led environment.
Compensation includes base salary of $625K+, relocation assistance, and bonus structure. Total earning potential may exceed base depending on productivity and final compensation structure.
Job Responsibilities
Perform elective and urgent spine surgeries
Manage minimally invasive spine, decompression, fusion, and complex spine cases
Provide preoperative and postoperative care
Collaborate with APPs, pain/interventional specialists, rehab, and clinical support teams
Participate in multidisciplinary care planning
Support referral development and practice growth
Maintain strong documentation and patient-centered care standards
Qualifications
Completion of accredited Neurosurgery residency
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
Eligible for Mississippi medical licensure
Spine-focused experience required
Minimally invasive spine experience strongly preferred
Fellowship training in spine, deformity, or related subspecialty preferred
Comfortable in a high-volume, physician-led practice setting
Working Hours
Monday–Friday schedule
Mix of clinic and OR days
Call participation required
Exact schedule and call structure discussed during interview process
Skills
Minimally invasive spine techniques
Decompression and fusion
Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine management
Complex spine / deformity experience preferred
Strong surgical judgment and clinical decision-making
Collaborative care with multidisciplinary teams
Strong communication with patients, staff, and referring providers
Interest in building a long-term, high-producing spine practice
