Privileging: 8 weeks
Coverage: 1 week per month (7 consecutive days)
Licensing: AK temporary license available (approx. 6–8 weeks)
7 days of call in a row, which would include 5 days of clinic/OR time
Beeper - Response within 20 minutes.
Call back is a few times a week
Coverage for Level II Trauma Center (adult + pediatric)
Mix of elective cases, urgent OR, and 24/7 call during assigned week
OR: Up to 3 cases/day on OR days
Urgent OR: 2–3 cases/week
Consults while on call: 2–3 per night
All ages seen
