We are seeking a Board-Certified Neurosurgeon for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Alaska. This role offers a consistent 1 week per month schedule with a mix of clinic, OR, and call responsibilities.
Position Overview:
- Start Date: June 2026
- Schedule: 1 week per month (7 consecutive days)
- Coverage includes clinic, OR, and call
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Perform neurosurgical procedures and manage clinic patients
- Provide call coverage with consults and urgent cases
- Work alongside APP and support staff
Work Details:
- Mix of clinic, OR, and call
- EMR: Cerner
- Adult and pediatric patient population
Requirements:
- Board Certified Neurosurgery (ABNS/ABMS)
- Willing to obtain AK license
- DEA required
