Neurological Surgery Locum Opportunity (A-HESJH-[Register to View] 4)
Start Date: April 30, 2026 (flexible start May 1)
Duration: Ongoing (additional dates to be offered)
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
Schedule
- Weekdays:
- Clinic + day call: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (hourly rate)
- Night call: 5:00 PM – 8:30 AM (night call rate)
- Weekends: 24-hour call coverage
- Coverage Blocks:
- April 30 (8:30 AM) – May 5 (8:30 AM)
- June 1 (8:30 AM) – June 8 (8:30 AM)
- May not be in clinic all 5 weekdays, but availability required
Practice Details
- Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
- Patient Volume: ~5 patients per shift
- Patient Population: Adult
- Trauma Level: III
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: Yes
- Providers Needed: 1–2
Required Skills
- General adult neurosurgery
- Trauma care
- Spinal surgery (with & without instrumentation)
- Cervical, thoracic, lumbar procedures
- ICP monitor placement
Requirements
- Board Certified (required)
- Active California license (required)
- DEA (required)
- Active fluoroscopy certification (required)
- Minimum 2 years of recent hospital-based clinical experience
Credentialing
- Estimated timeframe: 60–90 days
