This well-established hospital provides comprehensive neurological services to the North Coast region. The facility maintains high standards for patient care and offers excellent support for visiting physicians with modern equipment and dedicated staff.
Opportunity:
Physician - Neurological Surgery
Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive neurosurgery coverage including both clinic and call responsibilities
• Handle complex spine cases with instrumentation (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
• Perform spinal surgery both with and without instrumentation across all levels
• Manage general adult neurosurgery and trauma cases
• Place ICP monitors as required
• Work schedule: 8:30am-5pm weekdays in clinic with call responsibility included
• Night call coverage from 5pm-8:30am following clinic days
• Weekend coverage includes 24-hour call responsibility
• Guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime after 9 hours
• See approximately 5 patients per shift
• Must be Board Certified in Neurological Surgery with clean credentialing file
• Active California medical license and DEA required
• FLURO certification required (temporary certification acceptable)
• Must provide 100 case logs within past 24 months for privileging
• 2 years of current hospital clinical activity required
• 90-day average credentialing timeline
• Long-term lodging budget available at $3,500 per month if needed

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
