A healthcare facility in central Illinois is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurosurgery Physician for a long-term locum tenens assignment beginning summer 2026. This opportunity offers a predictable one week per month schedule with a mix of daytime coverage and call responsibilities.

Start: Summer 2026

Schedule: One full week per month (Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM)

Day Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Weeknight Call: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Weekend Call: Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM (24-hour call coverage)

Coverage Type: Clinic, inpatient consults, and call coverage

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery

Active Illinois medical license required

6 hours of stroke-specific CME within a rolling 2-year period

Ability to meet credentialing requirements including health attestation, vaccination records, drug screening, and physical within 90 days of start
