Practice Neurosurgery in Northern Idaho-Sign On/Life Balance/Outdoor Mecca

  • Northern Idaho Regional Medical Center is actively recruiting a Neurosurgeon to join their established team. As a 145-bed general acute care hospital, they are the largest full-service regional medical center between Boise, Idaho, and Spokane, Washington. With a Level III Trauma Center and more than 100 board-certified physicians and providers in both primary care and specialty disciplines, they deliver advanced-level specialty healthcare to ensure every patient, and their loved ones, have everything they need to feel comforted, every step of their journey.

About the position:

  • Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday
  • General Schedule- days per week –36 patient contact hours, 4 hours admin
  • Call:10 days per month
  • Average patients/day in clinic 10-12
  • Department staff -# of providers and support:1 MD, 1 RN, 1 MA , Reception
  • Clinic days per week: 2-3
  • OR days per week: 2

Qualifications:

  • BE/BC in Neurosurgery
  • ACGME-accredited Neurosurgery residency (may be in progress for early commitment)
  • Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of ID and DEA with full prescriptive authority
  • Must be willing and able to perform general neurosurgery

Recruitment package may include:

  • Compensation: Base salary starts at $920,000 + wRVU production incentive OR pure pruduction
