An established neurosurgery team in Pueblo is actively seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurosurgeon for a high-demand, full-time permanent position. This is a rare opportunity to step into a replacement role with immediate patient volume and strong referral support in an underserved community.

This general neurosurgery position offers the autonomy to build a robust elective spine practice while collaborating with experienced APPs in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Job Responsibilities

  • Perform general neurosurgical procedures, including cranial and spine cases
  • Develop and expand an elective spine practice
  • Manage inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical care
  • Collaborate with experienced APPs for clinic and floor support
  • Review ER imaging remotely and provide consultative recommendations
  • Participate in shared call coverage rotation
  • Utilize advanced neuro-navigation and robotics technology

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
  • Eligible for or active Colorado medical license
  • Strong clinical and surgical skill set in general neurosurgery
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
