Job Responsibilities
- Perform general neurosurgical procedures including cranial and spine cases
- Build and expand an elective spine program
- Manage inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical consultations
- Collaborate with APPs and multidisciplinary teams
- Interpret neuroimaging and diagnostic studies
- Participate in Level III trauma call coverage
- Maintain accurate documentation within EPIC EMR
- Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neurosurgery (ABNS pathway)
- Completion of accredited Neurosurgery residency
- Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain
- DEA certification (required prior to start)
- Clean malpractice and professional record

Working Hours
- 2 days clinic (average 8β12 patients per day)
- 2 days operating room
- 1 flex day
- Approximately 7 days of ER call per month (primarily remote imaging review)
- Likely one weekend per month as part of call rotation
