Job Responsibilities

  • Perform general neurosurgical procedures including cranial and spine cases
  • Build and expand an elective spine program
  • Manage inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical consultations
  • Collaborate with APPs and multidisciplinary teams
  • Interpret neuroimaging and diagnostic studies
  • Participate in Level III trauma call coverage
  • Maintain accurate documentation within EPIC EMR
  • Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neurosurgery (ABNS pathway)
  • Completion of accredited Neurosurgery residency
  • Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain
  • DEA certification (required prior to start)
  • Clean malpractice and professional record
