Position at a Glance:

  • Coverage to include: 80-90% Spine / 10-20% Cranial

We are recruiting a spine-focused neurosurgeons to meet growing regional demand. Serving a population of nearly one million, this opportunity offers a robust clinical volume, complex spine pathology, and the full backing of one of the country’s most respected nonprofit healthcare networks.

  • Join the region’s premier Neurosciences Institute
  • Collaborate with a strong multidisciplinary team, including:
    • 6 Neurosurgeons (including a cerebrovascular/endovascular specialist)
    • Neurohospitalists, neurologists, neuroradiology, neurointerventional neurology, and experienced APPs
  • Practice at a Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center
  • Access the full resources of the health system

Position Highlights

  • BE/BC Neurological Surgeon
  • High-volume practice with ~80% spine / 20% cranial cases
  • Broad case mix including neurotrauma, complex spine, brain tumors, and cerebrovascular disease
  • Balanced schedule supporting career longevity and personal time
  • Dedicated OR block time to support efficient, predictable scheduling
  • Collaborative culture with involvement in conferences, quality initiatives, and teaching

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO from an accredited medical school
  • Accredited Neurosurgery Residency Program completion
  • Fellowship training is not required; however Accredited Spine Neurosurgery Fellowship completion is a plus
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
  • DEA certification
