St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital is looking for call coverage and someone to urgent and emergent cases for Level 1 trauma. The need is 24 hour call, 1 week/month, ongoing

Job Details:

• Practice setting: Hospital
• Coverage Dates: March 3-10
• Schedule (Shifts and Hours): 8-12
• Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 1-2 emergent
• Trauma Level/Designation: 1
• Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
• Number of Neurosurgeons in Practice: 1 employed 1 non-employed
• Patient Age Demographic: (Adolescent, Peds, Neonate, Adult, Geriatric)
• Adult and Geriatric but emergent cases through ED

Procedures Required:

• Neurosurgery Cases ADULT
• Neurosurgery Cases TRAUMA
• Brain Bleed Stoppage
• Clot Removal
• Tumor Removal
• Trauma Repair
• Shunt Insertion or Revision
• have neuro IR in house

Spine Surgery Procedures Required:

• Spine Stabilization and Reconstruction
• Vertebroplasty and Kyphoplasty
• Spinal Fusion
• Laminectomy
• Diskectomy

Rates

• On Call Daily
• Call Back

Travel Reimbursement Information:

Lodging: ~$150/night
All other accommodations must be standard/economy
Any upgrade requests must be approved

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified Neurosurgery - [REQUIRED]
• OH License no exceptions - [REQUIRED]
• Provider must be available for March dates to be considered no exceptions - [REQUIRED]
• A Self-Query NPDB report is mandatory at the time of presentation. The Self-Query NPDB report must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date. - [REQUIRED]
• BLS, ACLS - [REQUIRED]
