An exciting Neurosurgery Physician opportunity in Pueblo, Colorado is now available for a Board-Certified or Truly Board-Eligible Neurosurgeon. Join an established, collegial team in a high-demand, underserved market with the opportunity to build a strong elective spine practice. This position offers a balanced clinic + OR schedule, advanced neuro-navigation technology, and collaborative APP support in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Work in a modern environment equipped with Globus Robot, Stryker navigation tools, and EPIC EMR, delivering world-class neurosurgical care while enjoying Colorado’s exceptional quality of life.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical care
• Conduct clinic visits (8–12 patients daily + APP-supported volume)
• Participate in OR cases 2 days per week
• Review ER imaging remotely during scheduled call coverage
• Collaborate with APPs managing floor calls and inpatient coordination
• Utilize advanced neuro-navigation and robotic technology
• Maintain accurate and timely EPIC documentation
Qualifications
• Active Colorado medical license (or willingness to obtain)
• DEA certification prior to start
• Clean malpractice history
• Strong surgical skills in general neurosurgery; spine interest preferred
• Team-oriented mindset with commitment to high-quality patient care
Working Hours
ER Call: Approx. 7 Days/Month (Primarily Remote Imaging Review)
Weekend Call: Approximately 1 Weekend/Month
